| A highly intumescent firestopping wrap strip primarily used in top-side firestop installations. 3M™ Fire Barrier Tuck-In Wrap Strips help eliminate the need for most of the materials and equipment required for labor-intensive bottom-side firestop installations. The product is available as precut strips to accommodate 2 inch, 3 inch or 4 inch plastic pipes and as an 8 foot roll which can be cut to length for larger sized (e.g, 6 inches) combustible piping penetrations. 3M™ Fire Barrier Tuck-In Wrap Strips slide easily into the openings around PVC, ccPVC, and FRPP piping. The strips are then caulked with 3M™ Fire Barrier Sealant CP 25 WB+, 3M™ Fire Barrier Sealant IC 15WB+ or 3M™ Fire Barrier Water Tight Sealant 3000 WT to provide up to a 3-hour Fire Rating through concrete walls and floors, block and gypsum walls. |
