Scotch® Premium High Temperature Masking Tape 2393 has a special adhesive that offers excellent adhesion to and easy removability from both metal and plastic. Tape can be removed hot, warm or cold from most surfaces without adhesive transfer. Has a rubber adhesive with instant adhesion that sticks easily and allows fast application. Provides excellent holding power that resist lifting or curling and helps reduce rework. Superior adhesive transfer resistance with clean removal. Mini-crepe paper backing for excellent surface contact with very secure holding. Ideal for conformability and easy handling. Has a backing that is solvent and moisture resistant and reduces bleed-through. Provides easy tear and handling. Has a special backsize treatment that controls unwind. Can be certified for ASTD-D6123/D6123M97. Replaces obsolete PPP-T-42C, Type 1, (CID-A-A-883A).

Typical physical and performance characteristics include: thickness: 7.6 mils, adhesion to steel: 32 oz./in. width, tensile strength: 28 lbs./in. width, elongation at break: 11%, temperature use range: Up to 325(deg)F. Tan.
