This tape features a tensilized polypropylene film backing with 220 lbs/inch width tensile strength for high pull rate success in tear strip opening applications on medium to heavyweight fiberboard packaging. This tape is also used for carry handle reinforcement applications on paperboard cartons containing various types of beverages in cans or bottles. Rubber/resin adhesive bonds to most paperboard and corrugated fiberboard including those with high recycled content. Applications:- Convenience opening tape for overnight courier boxes/envelopes; audio/video/CD/book mailers; primary retail packages for such items as electronics, toys, medical devices, and computers; mail order retailers who want to reduce returned package damage from customers cutting open the package. Typical Physical Properties:- 30% elongation at break. 85 oz/inch adhesion to steel.- Standard width: 4.75 mm
