Polypropylene backing provides excellent resistance to nicks, abrasion, moisture and scuffing. Patented continuous ribbing of polypropylene monofilaments reinforces tape for reliable strength. Specially formulated rubber resin adhesive bonds to metallic or fiberboard surfaces. Applications:- Light-duty strapping and bundling, and general purpose reinforced closure. Typical Physical Properties:- 30% elongation at break- 50 oz/inch adhesion to steel- Bar codes, type and graphics show through unique clear backing- Black backing is also available for reliable adhesion in UV-exposure applications Standard clear widths: 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, and 48 mm.
