Convenient assorted pack of fine grit Wetordry™ sandpaper which contains 320, 400, 600 and 800 grit. Designed for hand sanding, each 3 2/3 x 9 sheet can be easily attached to and used on a sanding block. During Stage 3 of the 3M Body Repair System use the 320 grit sheets to shape and sand glaze and spot putty and refine the 180 grit scratches. Use the 400 grit sandpaper for sanding glaze and spot putty as well as sanding primer. During Stage 4 of the 3M™ Body Repair System use 600 grit sandpaper to sand primer and 800 grit sandpaper to scuff the blend area prior to applying base coat paint. Follow this step by applying base coat paint and clear coat. Complete the process by paint finishing the cured clear coat with 3M™ fine grit sandpaper, compounds and polishes. When a project necessitates exceptional results, look to 3M™ Wetordry™ Sandpaper for your surface finishing solutions. 3M™ Wetordry™ abrasive products may be used for either wet or dry sanding applications, which allows you to switch between both methods with one sandpaper. Wet sanding and dry sanding each have their own advantages. Dry sanding saves you from having to dry the surface to check the progress of your work. Wet sanding works more quickly, holds down the dust and reduces clogging of the sandpaper. The flexible backing of this abrasive is perfect for sanding and finishing plastics, metal, body fillers, glaze, primer and clear coat with a more consistent scratch pattern.
