Scotch® Bi-Directional Filament Tape 8959

High performance. Polypropylene backing reinforced with bi-directional continuous glass yarn across length and width. Typical tensile strengths of 150 lb/inch longitudinal and 50 lb/inch width in cross direction.

Excellent resistance to nicks, abrasion, moisture and scuffing. Resists center seam splitting in both longitudinal and cross direction for increased tape performance. Specially formulated rubber resin adhesive bonds with excellent initial adhesion and shear strength to metal, plastic and fiberboard. Holds with minimum rubdown and no water activation. Long aging keeps boxes closed longer.
