3M™ Polyester Tape 853

3M™ Polyester Tape 853, Transparent, 2.2 mil (0.05 mm) polyester film tape with solvent resistant acrylic adhesive.

Used for high tension butt splicing applications. The acrylic adhesive offers high chemical and solvent resistance, which helps protect against failure due to undercutting or adhesive softening.

Benefits:

• Can be qualified to meet Federal Spec. L-T-100B, Type I
• Printable on the adhesive side and by the “Print Seal” method on the backing side
