3M™ Fire Barrier Sealant IC 15WB+

A water based latex, intumescent smoke and firestopping sealant for wall and floor penetrations. Easy-to-handle formulation that bonds to gypsum wallboard, concrete, metals, wood, plastic and cable jacketing. Dries to a firm, rubber-like solid. Provides up to 2 hours of fire protection.

IC 15WB+ was recently reformulated for the sole purpose of ensuring the sealant’s compatibility with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster® and Corzan® CPVC pipe and fittings. The product now displays the special FGG/BM compatible mark which quickly tells installers that the product is compatible with Noveon’s CPVC products. FGG/BM® System Compatible indicates this product has been tested and is monitored on an on going basis to assure chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster®, and Corzan® pipe and fittings.
